The build of our replacement 7.5m (hardtop) walkthrough (Two Zero class) Naiad vessel has reached a new milestone with the hot works and painting complete.
The new vessel has also received its new call sign of BB21 until the current Gemini RHIB BB20 is decommissioned. The next phase of the build now begins with the fit out of all the electronics, engines and rescue equipment is installed with sea trials to begin mid to end of May.
It is now estimated the delivery of BB21 will be mid June 2022 as opposed to the original delivery date of May, as a result of flooding across the month of March and COVID related staffing issues.
We cant wait to have the new vessel in our home waters helping our local community.
